Biography
She studied modern languages (French, Spanish, Portuguese) at University College Dublin, Ireland. There, she further completed an MA in European Studies with a thesis on the Sorbian language in Germany. She also holds a PhD in Linguistics from Trinity College Dublin, where she carried out research on the prosody and intonation of Donegal Irish, a northern variety of Irish. She worked as an assistant and tutor in the Phonetics Laboratory and also gained experience in teaching phonetics as part of undergraduate and graduate courses, and Clinical Phonetics as part of an Undergraduate course.
Research Interest
Her research interests include phonetics and phonology of intonation, prosodic analysis, minority languages, and European minority language policy. Currently, she is a member of the exploreAT! project at the Austrian Centre for Digital Humanities, working within the lexicographic research group.
