1959 born in Luxembourg (G.- D. ​​de Luxembourg)   1978 - 1981 Studied provincial Roman and classical archeology and communication sciences in Munich   1981-1985 Degree in Classical Archeology and Ancient History in Vienna   1985 - 1992  Doctoral studies Classical Archeology in Vienna (Dissertation topic: Ancient Tombs in Noricum)   since 1985 Freelancer of the Museum Carnuntinum and the Archaeological Park Carnuntum (editorial office Carnuntum Yearbook, project Pfaffenberg, museum work)   1992    Stone Monuments of the Shrine on the Mühläckern, Carnuntum (ÖAW) Reconstruction of grave monuments from Mersch and Bertrange, Gallia Belgica (National Museum of History and Art of Luxembourg) Freelance work in various excavation and research projects in Austria and Luxembourg, including: Stone monuments of the sanctuary on the Pfaffenberg, Carnuntum (Lower Austria, ÖAW) Roman tombs in Noricum (FWF project, ÖAI) Excavations Lilienfeld (municipality Lilienfeld, excavation management) and Bruckneudorf (ÖAI, cooperation)   since 2001  Teaching assignments at the University of Vienna   since 2005 research associate at the Institute for Cultural History of the Ancient World of the Academy) (CSIR Carnuntum, Titelberg Architecture in cooperation with the CNRA Luxembourg)   2011 Member of the Scientific Committee of the Colloquium on Roman Provincial Art (Corpus Signorum Imperii Romani)     Curator of the exhibition "Götterbilder - Menschenbilder" at the Archaeological Museum Carnuntinum as part of the NÖ Landesausstellung 2011 2013 Member of the international committee for the corpus signorum imperii romani of the AIAC   Curator of the exhibition "AD 313 - From Carnuntum to Christianity" (together with A. Pülz, E. Pollhammer) in the Archaeological Museum Carnuntinum     since 2014 Head of the project " Stone monuments and stone extraction in the area Carnuntum - Vindobona, interdisciplinary evaluation of an archaeological find category" (FWF P 26368-G21) since 2016 Head of the project " Tombs of the Western Treverergebiet in the Interregional Context" (FWF / FNR I 2269-G25)
