1973 Birth in Vienna 1992 - 1997 Studied Ancient History and Ancient History as well as the subject combination Ancient Numismatics at the University of Vienna 1997 - 2001 Doctoral studies from numismatics at the University of Vienna, writing the dissertation "Investigations on the Sasanian coinage of Shabuhr II (309-379) to the 2nd government of Kawad I (499-531)" at Univ.-Prof. Dr. Gerhard Dobesch and Univ.-Doz. Dr. Michael Alram 1998 - 2000 PhD scholarship holder of the Austrian Academy of Sciences as part of the DOC program 2000 - 2001 Stays abroad at the Hebrew University, Jerusalem, as part of an Israel Government Scholarship since 2002 Research assistant at the Numismatic Commission of the Austrian Academy of Sciences  since 2004 Lecturer at the Institute for Numismatics and Monetary History of the University of Vienna 2008 Fellow at the Institute for Advanced Studies, Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi 2009 Habilitation in Numismatics at the University of Vienna 2013 Robinson Scholarship at the British Museum, London
