Biography
Studied Classical Archeology and Ancient History at the Universities of Graz and Vienna, 1997 Doctorate and 2007 Habilitation. From 1995 to 2007 scientific employee of the Institute for Cultural History of the Ancient World of the Academy. Since 2007 at the ÖAI, since 2009 as director and excavation leader in Ephesos. Corresponding member of the German Archaeological Institute and the Archaeological Institute of America.
