Biography
Caroline D. KarpKarp joined the company in June 2013 as assistant corporate controller. Prior to joining Baxter, she served as senior vice president and corporate controller for Mesirow Financial Holdings, Inc. from 2012 to 2013. From 2007 through 2012, she was vice president, investment accounting and reporting and assistant vice president, technical advisory for CNA Corporation. She served as senior manager, assurance for Pricewaterhouse Coopers LLC from 2004 through 2007, and prior to that she served in a variety of roles of increasing responsibility for KPMG LLP from 1996 through 2004. Karp obtained her Bachelor of Commerce (Legal) from the University of Witwatersrand and her Bachelor of Commerce Honors from the University of South Africa. She received certification from the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants and as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
