Biography
Prof. Dr. Andreas Busch has been Head of Global Drug Discovery at Bayer HealthCare AG since February 1, 2007. Prof. Dr. Busch has served as a Member of Board of Management of Bayer Pharma AG and of its subsidiary Bayer Schering Pharma AG since February 1, 2007. Prof. Dr. Busch serves as the Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Icon Genetics, Germany. He serves as a Member of Supervisory Board at Bayer CropScience AG. He serves as a Member of the Scientific Advisory Board of Robert Koch Foundation and Schering Foundation. He studied pharmacy at the Johann Wolfgang Goethe University in Frankfurt/Main. He holds Ph.D. in pharmacology in 1989.
