Biography
Andrew Fox-Smith was appointed Chief Executive Officer on 20th June 2014 following the acquisition of Global Orthopaedic Technology by The Riverside Company – a leading mid cap private equity company. As CEO, Andrew is responsible for the company’s overall management and global strategy. He has advised Riverside on a number of deals over the last 2 years and has over 20 years experience in the medical technology industry – including 18 years at Stryker Corporation where his most recent position was as Group President, International. Andrew holds a Bachelor of Business from Charles Sturt University and has completed the Advanced Management Program at Harvard Business School. He is also Chairman of Optimized Ortho Pty Ltd – an innovative Australian based medical technology company specialising in dynamic, functional and patient specific simulations.
