Biography
Dr Fischl has been trained as a biologist and virologist at University in Vienna and University of Heidelberg. He has worked on the elucidation of the infection cycle of Tick-borne encephalitis virus (TBEV) and dengue virus. Since 2012 he has lead the internal antiviral programs at Haplogen and progressed internal projects from an early stage of a putative target to solid validated programs with chemical lead molecules ready for preclinical development.
