Biography
Bernhard Lässer (1969) studied civil engineering in Innsbruck, Austria and business management in Deggendorf, Germany. He began his professional career in Vienna in 1988, taking on design and site supervision tasks for the Trans Austrian Gas Pipeline. In 2001 and 2002 he was part of the ILF management team in Abu Dhabi. In 2003 he moved to Munich, where he became Adolf Feizlmayr’s assistant. There he had the opportunity to work on many international gas and oil projects before he was appointed business area manager for project management. After three years as managing director at ILF Germany, Bernhard Lässer accepted regional responsibility for several companies of the ILF Group and assumed worldwide responsibility for coordinating all activities in the Water & Environment business area. In 2009, he began lecturing about pipeline engineering at the University of Leoben.
