Dr. Helmut Klocker is currently serving as the Professor in Department of Urology from Medical University of Innsbruck. Research Laboratory of the Department of Urology (Urologielabor) Positioned at the connection of basic and translational research and patient-oriented research and service Analysis of hormones and tumor markers Prostate cancer early detection program (Tyrolean PSA Screening Project) National (FWF) and international (EU) research projects with a focus on molecular biology of prostatic diseases Certified according to the quality management standard ISO 9001 Teaching Tumor marker and their clinical use DNA damage and DNA repair mechanism Tumor metastasis and angiogenesis Molecular biology of the prostate and prostatic diseases Courses: Hormone and tumor marker analysis in a clinical laboratory, DNA sequencing
