Biography
Franziska Gaupp is an IIASA post-doctoral research scholar working jointly with the Ecosystems Services and Management (ESM) and Risk and Resilience (RISK) programs. She uses the IIASA GLOBIOM model to estimate the consequences of multiple breadbasket failures under different future scenarios. Ms. Gaupp joined IIASA after completing a DPhil (PhD) at the Environmental Change Institute, University of Oxford, where she investigated global water security in major river basins and simultaneous climate risks to agriculture in the global breadbaskets. She holds a MSc in Ecological Economics from the University of Edinburgh and a BSc in Economics from the Freie Universität in Berlin.
Research Interest
She is interested in agricultural risk modeling.
