Biography
Joakim Lundgren joined the Environmentally Compatible Energy Strategies Program as a Postdoc Scholar in March 2006. Dr. Lundgren received his PhD in energy engineering in 2004 from the Lulea University of Technology, Sweden. Since then he has been working as a senior scientist and lecturer at the Division of Energy Engineering at the same university. He has also addressed the possibilities of combining biomass based heating applications with solar thermal collectors. Dr. Lundgren has been teaching a variety of university courses since 1998.
Research Interest
His research work is focused on small and medium scale combustion of wet and inhomogeneous biomass fuels for heating purposes.
