Biography
Eleonore Fröhlich is Director of the Core Facility Imaging at the Center for Medical Research at the Medical University of Graz, Austria and professor at the University of Tübingen, Germany. She holds a Medical degree and a Diploma in Biochemistry from the Universities Tübingen and Heidelberg, Germany and specialized in Histology & Embryology and Anatomy. Her past research activities include studies on retina and retinal pigment epithelium, role of proteases in skin cancer, and differentiation therapy in thyroid cancer. Present research topics include biological and toxicological evaluation of nanoparticles and the development of physiologically relevant in-vitro models. Eleonore Fröhlich is Editorial Board Member of 6 journals and acts as reviewer for more than 70 journals and grant agencies.
