Biography
Dr. Peter Marhofer is currently working as a Professor in the Department of Department of Anaesthesia, Intensive Care Medicine and Pain Medicine, Medical University of Vienna , Â Austria. His research interests includes Paediatric Anaesthesia and Paediatric Intensive Care Medicine. He /she is serving as an editorial member and reviewer of several international reputed journals. Dr. Peter Marhofer is the member of many international affiliations. He/ She has successfully completed his Administrative responsibilities. He /she has authored of many research articles/books related to Paediatric Anaesthesia and Paediatric Intensive Care Medicine.
Research Interest
My main research focus is regional anaesthesia and paediatric anaesthesia. Our study group initiated the use of ultrasound for regional anaesthesia purposes, and since that time we established these techniques worldwide. Regional anaesthesia became safer and more practicable with the use of ultrasound.
