Biography
Sofie Van Gijsel joined Mithra Pharmaceuticals in February 2017 as Investor Relations Officer. Before joining Mithra, Ms. Van Gijsel was Co-CEO of the New York branch of KBC Securities USA. In this role, Ms. Van Gijsel mainly focused on Equity Sales for the Benelux Biotech & Healthcare sector, including for corporate transactions such as IPOs. Ms. Van Gijsel holds a Master in Linguistics of Trinity College (Dublin) and a PhD in Linguistics from the University of Leuven (Belgium), as well as the Series 7, 63 and 24 FINRA licenses.
