Adel Ahmed

Biography

Ahmed adel holds a Master degree in Mechanical Engineering from Vienna University of Technology, specializing in advanced and alternative energy systems. The Master thesis was on the development and construction of a parabolic trough pilot plant. Mr. Adel is a holder of 2 patents in the field of the Concentrated Solar Power, and the inventor of SOLABOLIC technology. From 2006 to 2008 he was a project manager at Petromaint, a leading company of energy services and constructions in the Middle East. Later on he was responsible for the factory expansion project of Böhler Welding Group, including the installation of new production line in South East Asia, and the optimization of production processes in regards to the “Lean Manufacturing” philosophy. Mr. Adel worked as a research assistant at Vienna University of Technology, Institute for Energy Systems and Thermodynamics, where he was responsible for thermodynamic calculations and data acquisition systems. He founded SOLABOLIC in 2013, and since then he has been working full time on it.
