Biography

Kirsten's pharmaceutical industry career spans 30 years. As president of PGS, she is responsible for Pfizer’s internal and external manufacturing and supply network. She has held roles of increasing global responsibility throughout her career including site leadership, global strategic planning, contractor management, supply chain management and product portfolio leadership. Kirsten joined the company in 1999 from SmithKline Beecham where she held various global operational and leadership roles in Australia, Germany and the United States. Kirsten has been a member of the PGS Leadership Team since 2000, and has represented PGS on several of Pfizer’s Business Leadership Teams. In addition to her daily responsibilities, Kirsten is a Board Member of the Pfizer Foundation, and the Executive Leadership Team (ELT) sponsor for Pfizer's Environmental Sustainability program and Latino Colleague Resource Group. Kirsten also sits on the Board of Directors of the National Association of Manufacturers. Kirsten is a pharmacist from Kiel University in Germany and holds a Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Biology from Freiburg University in Germany.   Kirsten's pharmaceutical industry career spans 30 years.
