Biography
Dr. Kumar Ramu joined QPS in 2000 as Vice President of Operations, and was promoted in 2014 to his present position as COO. Prior to joining QPS, Dr. Ramu held positions at CoCensys and Purdue Pharma as Group Leader in the discovery, preclinical and clinical drug development departments of DMPK, as well as in toxicology and pharmaceutical sciences. Dr. Ramu has been involved in ERC/IND/CTX filings and regulatory meetings, as well as on drug development project teams with involvement in CMC manufacturing and toxicology. He received his Ph.D. in medicinal chemistry from the University of Mississippi, and obtained post-doctoral training in toxicology from the University of Texas at Austin.
