Andreas H. Sander

Biography

Mr. Andreas H. Sander has been Vice President and Managing Director for Boston Healthcare International Gmbh at Boston Healthcare GmbH since January 2015. Mr. Sander leads the European team and Boston Healthcare International 's activities in Germany and Europe out of Boston Healthcare's Berlin office. Mr. Sander has over 20 years of experience in the European health care markets as well as an in-depth knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry. He has successfully managed pharmaceutical businesses and products with multinational companies in the areas of sales, marketing, market access, and general management. Mr. Sander has broad knowledge of therapeutic indications ranging from primary care to specialty indications such as rheumatology and dermatology, as well as vaccine medicines. Mr. Sander served as Managing Director of Europe and Vice President at Boston Healthcare Associates, Inc until May 12, 2016. Mr. Sander serves as Vice President and Managing Director at Sanofi Pasteur MSD GmbH. Prior to joining Sanofi Pasteur MSD in 2011, Mr. Sander served as Vice President Central Europe and Managing Director Germany at ALK-Abello A/S. Mr. Sander served different various positions in various international pharmaceutical companies. At Wyeth, he served as the Commercial Director, Head of BioPharma in Germany and General Manager of Wyeth in Poland with focus on vaccines and biopharmaceuticals. Mr. Sander has a Master’s degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the Free University Berlin and an MBA from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School.
