Biography

Doug is the Vice President of Quality and Regulatory Affairs at SCIEX. In this role, he provides strategic direction on establishing, implementing and maintaining QA/RA systems in accordance with applicable standards for SCIEX and regulatory requirements for governing bodies. Doug brings with him over 30 years of experience and leadership in the Quality and Regulatory space. Prior to joining SCIEX, Doug held a number of senior roles leading the Regulatory Affairs and Quality Assurance teams at companies such as LightLab, Omniguide Inc. and Animas Corporation. Most recently, Doug held the role of Head of Quality and Regulatory – Population Health Management Business Group at Philips where he was responsible for implementing quality, regulatory and clinical processes and systems for a new business group of Philips consisting of six individual businesses, including software and hardware devices. Doug holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Agricultural Engineering and a Master of Science degree in Engineering and Mechanical Design, both from Washington State University.
