Biography
Gordon Logan is the Senior Vice President of research and development at SCIEX and is responsible for all R&D activity at SCIEX. Previously, Gordon was Senior Vice President of product development at MDS Analytical Technologies with strategic and operational responsibility. Prior to joining SCIEX 2005, Gordon was a Director at Labformatics Ltd., a laboratory management consultancy, where he focused on the instrument business at VG and Fisons Instruments prior to their acquisition by Thermo Electron, where he became president and managing director of informatics. Gordon earned a master's degree in biotechnology/biochemical engineering at the University of Birmingham, UK and a PhD in bioreactor optimization and biosensor design from the University of Sunderland, UK.
