Tara Illiano

Biography

As Vice President & General Counsel for SCIEX, Tara manages the legal, intellectual property, trade compliance and EHS functions. Tara joined in 2010 as head of the global commercial legal function for SCIEX. Since that time, she has taken on a variety of responsibilities before her promotion to General Counsel. Tara began her legal career as an Associate in the Health Care Group at Ropes & Gray. Prior to joining SCIEX, Tara worked as in house counsel in the life sciences industry, most recently as the Senior Corporate Counsel for the Endoscopy Division of Smith & Nephew. She is admitted to practice law in Massachusetts. She holds a B.A. from Union College and a Juris Doctorate from Boston College Law School.
