Bill Faranda

Biography

Bill leads the business development activities for Sekisui Diagnostics and is responsible for participating in the design of the overall business strategy and assisting in the execution of that strategy by augmenting development efforts through partnerships and collaborations with third parties.  Those partnerships include joint development agreements, technology/product licensing, distribution/supply agreements as well as mergers and acquisitions.  Bill has been working in the diagnostics field for over 35 years in a variety of commercial roles and in business development specifically for more than 20 years.  He joined Sekisui Diagnostics (then Genzyme Diagnostics) in 1991 and has held a number of business and management roles during his tenure with the company.  Prior to Sekisui Diagnostics, Bill spent 10 years in marketing management roles at Baxter Diagnostics. Bill holds a B.S. in Analytical Chemistry from University of Massachusetts.
