Biography
Dr Li-Mei Chen received her MD from Hunan Medical University in 1986 and her PhD in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Medical University of South Carolina in 1997. Currently she is working as a cancer researcher in University of Central Florida College of Medicine in the Department of Molecular Biology and Microbiology. She has coauthored over 40 peerreviewed research articles and served as a reviewer or an editor for biomedical journals. She is a member of the Society for Basic Urologic Research since 2005. Research Interest
Her research areas of interest include epithelial tight junctions and signal transduction, developmental biology, inflammation, cardiovascular biology and cancer biology.
