Biography
Michael Kramer was born 1974 in Vienna. After earning an mechanical engineers degree (Ing.) in HTL Schellinggasse he studied Electrical engineering at the Vienna University of Technology, specialising in Computer Technique. During his study he worked as an electronic developer for a small company specialised in model-racing electronics. After graduation he changed job location to a company located in lower Austria, which, amongst other items, was specialised in traffic signalling, where he was at first employed as an development engineer and responsible for hard- and firmware development. Later on he leaded the development team of the "Road-Traffic" profitcenter. Since September 2006 he is staff member of the Technikum Wien, where he is presently associated to the department of Embedded Systems dealing with lecture and research projects. From November 2009 he lead the City of Vienna Competence Team Embedded Platforms. Since May 2013 he is involved with three research modules of the Josef Ressel Center VECS
