Biography
Paul Negulescu is the Senior Vice President and Site Head of San Diego Research. He’s been leading Vertex’s San Diego research location since 2003, the site that discovered Vertex’s two medicines that treat the underlying cause of cystic fibrosis. Prior tojoining Vertex, Dr. Negulescu was Senior Vice President of Discovery Biology and a member of the executive team at Aurora Biosciences. When Vertex acquired Aurora, he was responsible for integrating Aurora’s research into Vertex.
