Badal Badalov

Biography

  Badal Badalov was born in Goranboy district in 1961. In 1987, he graduated from Azerbaijan Civil Engineering Institute (now Azerbaijan University of Architecture and Construction). He started his engineering career at Construction and Erection Department #2 of “Xazardenizneftgastikinti” (CaspianSeaOilGasConstruction) Trust of “Xazardenizneftgas” (CaspianSeaOilGas) Production Unit; later he became very qualified specialist. In 1997-2003s, Mr Badalov was Chiefs of Construction and Erection Department of “Xazardenizneftgastikinti” Trust at Offshore Oil and Gas Exploration Production Unit and Mobile Mechanized Union. In 2003, he was appointed deputy director on capital construction at “Azerneftyanacaq” (AzerOilFuel) Refinery (now Baku Refinery named after Heydar Aliyev). In 2005-2007s, he was the director of SOCAR’s Baku Refinery named after Heydar Aliyev; in 2007-2011s, he worked as the head of Social Development Department. He was appointed the SOCAR vice-president on social issues under the Order of the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev in 2011. He was awarded with “Honoured engineer of Azerbaijan Republic” title in 2010. Mr Badalov is the member of Yeni Azerbaijan Party (New Azerbaijan Party).
