Saeid Gharechelou

Biography

He is a researcher in. He completed his PhD on March 2015 at the Chiba University in remote sensing field and MS.C on October 2007 in the environmental remote sensing and GIS from University of Tehran, Iran. He worked as lecturer position in the field of remote sensing and GIS application in natural resources management and also head of Arid land Management department at Semnan University, Iran for about 4 years. He has been the recipient of a national and international scholarships and fellowships. He was around 1 year as research scholar and did research at Microwave remote sensing laboratory in University of Massachusetts. His research interests include earth observation using satellite data and remote sensing applications and technology in land change and environments. He is a researcher in. His research interests in earth observation using satellite data and remote sensing technology, remote sensing and GIS application in Land process change, satellite image processing, SAR data analysis and application in environments, land change modelling, remote sensing hydrology, land surface dynamic modelling,  natural hazard and disaster management using remote sensing.
