Biography
Ruben Rene Gonzalez Perez is an Associate Professor in the Department of Microbiology Biochemistry and Immunology, Morehouse School of Medicine Atlanta, GA. He is an Associate Member of the Graduate Faculty, Cancer Biology Morehouse School of Medicine and an Associate Scientist Vincent Center Reproduction Biology Massachusetts General Hospital MA USA. He has received a PhD in Enzymology Microbiology from the University of Havana Havana Cuba and INSA Toulouse France in 1980-1985. He has completed his BA in Biochemistry in the University of Havana Havana Cuba 1973. He has been trained in Moscow Research Institute of Food Science Moscow URSS Enzymology (1978-1979); INSA Toulouse France EnzymologyMicrobiology(1983-1985) etc. in 2000- 2001, he was trained in Boston Biomedical Research Institute Watertown MA in Proteomics/Cytokine Signaling in Cancer and Reproductive Immunology. He is a Distinguished Cancer Scholar of the Georgia Cancer Coalition Atlanta GA . His research has been funded by the Komen Foundation for the Cure, The Cancer Research and Prevention Foundation CONRADCICCR , The Breast Cancer Spore Program Univ of Alabama in Birmingham AL and NIH/NCI. He is serving as an editorial board member of reputed journals and reviewer of 15 peerreviewed journals. He has several patents and publications in the fields of cancer and reproductive biology.
