Biography
Janet graduated from Leeds University in 1978 and was admitted as a Solicitor in October 1982. Since then she has continued to practise law in Ryde, Shanklin and Newport Isle of Wight, (having taken time off work in the 1990s to raise a family). Since 1984 Janet has specialised in family law.
Research Interest
Janet is an Accredited Specialist with Resolution (formerly known as the Solicitors Family Law Association), specialising in Ancillary relief (financial cases), and Children Act private cases (Child Arrangements orders) and is a trained Resolution Family Law Mediator.
