Biography
Ivo Filipe Oliveira Pereira da Gama was born in Oporto, Portugal on February, 23rd , 1984. He entered to the faculty of Medicine of Hospital Santo António / Instituto de Ciências Biomédicas Abel Salazar, Oporto, Portugal on September 2002. He finished his medical formation and acquired the MD degree on July 2008. In 2009, he had a general medicine residency. On Jan 2010, he started surgical training in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Department and Burns Unit of Hospital São João, Oporto, Portugal. He started Ophthalmology residency in Hospital Santa Maria (Lisbon Academic Medical Center, Lisbon, Portugal) on April 2012. Ivo Filipe Gama is currently a young opthalmologist working in Hospital Santa Maria (Lisbon, Portugal).
