Biography
Grigorios is a postdoctoral research fellow in the Department of Biomedical Informatics of Vanderbilt University working with Dr. Bradley Malin. I hold a PhD in Computer Science from Cardiff University and a Diploma in Computer Science from University of Crete, Greece. My research interests lie broadly in the fields of data management with a focus on privacy. This involves identifying privacy threats, and exploiting the strengths of database, statistics, and optimization fields to develop methods that enable effective data analysis while protecting data subjects. I am also interested in tackling practical and challenging privacy problems in health-data related environments, including electronic medical record and healthcare systems.
