Biography
Song Cao earned his Ph.D. at Zhejiang University, China. Currently, he is a research associate in the physics department at the University of Missouri, USA. He has published several papers on the Journal of Molecular Biology, Nucleic Acids Research, RNA, Biophysical Journal, Physical Review B, Journal of Physics: Condensed Matter and Surface Science et. al. He served as a reviewer of peer-reviewed journals in the area of computational biology. Song Cao earned his Ph.D. at Zhejiang University, China. 1. Computational studies on cellular events including pre-mRNA splicing, telomerase activity and ribosomal frameshifting. 2.Secondary structure predictions of RNA pseudoknots and RNA/RNA complexes. 3.Thermodynamics and kinetics of RNA folding. 4.Mechanical unfolding of RNA molecule. 5.de-novo prediction of RNA 3D structure. 6.Computational studies of complex adsorption systems.
