Biography

Dr. Daneri is a Professor in the Department of Physiology at the University of Guadalajara He has received his MD from the University of Guadalajara in 1982 and the PhD in Basic Biomedical Research Tumor Biology and Immunology from The National Autonomous University of Mexico in 1995. He has described tumor evasion mechanisms induced by cervical cancer cells and HPV. He studied the role of proteases dendritic cells and NK cells in cervical cancer oncogenesis and progression from squamous intraepithelial lesions SIL linked to HPV infection Dr. Daneris group reported the loss of CEACAM1 adhesion molecule with tumor suppressor function in invasive cervical cancer. Adrian Daneri Navarro is member of the Steering Committee of United States Latin America Cancer Research NetworkNCI and is serving as reviewer of cancer and immunology journals. Tumor evasion mechanisms induced by tumor cells and viruses. Immunological and molecular factors involved in SIL recurrence post-treatment and cervical cancer progression. Breast and cervical cancer molecular profiles and genetic alterations with the aim to find new prognostic and prediction factors in Hispanic population.
