Biography

POCHOLO B. TRINIDAD was born in 1967 in Manila, Philippines He received his Doctor of Medicine from the Faculty of Medicine and Surgery, University of Santo Tomas, Manila, in 1993 and obtained his Master of Rehabilitation Science from the University of the Philippines in Manila in 2002 and a Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Therapy from Emilio-Agunaldo College-Manila in 1989. Dr. Trinidad joined Ahlia University in 2009 as a Lecturer and currently holds this position in the Department. He is an experienced educator and lecturer specialising in the field of Rehabilitation Sciences in the Philippines with extensive knowledge in the fields of Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy education. He was appointed as Dean of the College of Physical and Occupational Therapy of Emilio Aguinaldo College-Manila from 1995-2003 and worked as a member of the panel of Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy education with the Commission of Higher Education of the Philippines. He carried out the goals and vision of the college and its mission as Dean of the College from 1996-2003, with specific focus on the mission, vision, and goals of the College of Physical and Occupational Therapy. He also established Community-Based Rehabilitation programmes for the disabled in five depressed communities in Manila at that time and is a recognised pioneer of CBR programmes in Private schools in the Philippines
