Abdulaziz Al Helaissi

Biography

Mr. Al Helaissi assumed the position of the Chief Executive Officer of Gulf International Bank B.S.C. (“GIB”) in February 2016. Prior to joining GIB, he was senior advisor to the Governor of the Saudi Arabian Monetary Authority (“SAMA”) from October 2015 to December 2015. He also held the position of Deputy Governor for Supervision at SAMA from May 2013 to September 2015. His work experience includes the role of Senior Country Officer & Managing Director and Head of Global Corporate Banking for MENA region at JPMorgan Chase, Riyadh from September 2010 to April 2013. He has also held a number of senior positions at Saudi British Bank (“SABB”), Arab National Bank (“ANB”) and Saudi Hollandi Bank (“SHB”) between 1990 and 2010.
