Biography
Katalin was born and raised in Gyor, Hungary and has always had a passion for sports. Since the age of 6, she always knew that she wanted to pursue a career in Physical Education. She is very interested in the biomechanics of the human body. While in Elementary school, she was selected to be part of the Elite Sports Class. Between the ages of 13 and 18 she joined the Hungarian Junior National Team throwing Javelin. A graduate from Semmelweis University, in Budapest, Katalin obtained Diplomas in Sports Science and Teaching with over 20 different kinds of sports in practice and theory. She has over twenty years of professional experience with ten years in rehabilitation and post-hospital curative treatments for children and adults and out-patient orthopaedic rehabilitation. She is an accredited sports scientist in Medical Exercises, Nordic Walking, Hydrotherapy, Obesity Training, Exercise and Sports Rehabilitation, Internal Medicine and Orthopaedics, Psychosomatic Patients, Physiotherapy specializing in back problems and Stott Pilates. Katalin loves to travel and learn new things such as languages. She moved to London as an au pair before her career then to Germany where she worked in the Healthcare sector. She has moved to Bahrain with her husband and would like to share her extensive experience in the human body’s movement with the Kingdom of Bahrain. Katalin speaks several languages including Hungarian, German, English and a little Russian and Greek.
