Mwai Exartier

Biography

 Mwai was born in Malawi, Central Africa but moved to the US at the age of 12 as her father got posted in the Malawian embassy in Washington DC. She grew up in McLean, Virginia where she completed her High School. Her first student job was at a Neurology office and since then, she has always been interested in Health care. She found that she connected well with people naturally and wanted to be part of making a difference in people’s lives even from behind the scenes. She has over 14 years of experience in managerial administrative roles and has been part of leading healthcare organizations in the Mid-Atlantic region of the United States. Mwai moved to Bahrain with her husband and their son and have since welcomed an additional member to their growing family. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling and learning about new cultures with her husband. She also enjoys the outdoors, reading and spending quality time with friends. She completed her B.S. in Psychology with a Minor in Sociology at University of Maryland. While completing her Master of Healthcare Administration she decided to pursue an MBA, and now is a few classes shy of obtaining a dual Master degree.
