Biography
Professor Alberto Sangiovanni Vincentelli was a co-founder of Cadence and Synopsys, the two leading companies in the area of Electronic Design Automation. Prof. Alberto is the Chief Technology Adviser of Cadence. Prof. Alberto is a member of the Board of Directors of Cadence and chairs its Technology Committee. Prof. Alberto was a member of the HP Strategic Technology Advisory Board. Prof. Alberto is currently a member of the Science and Technology Advisory Board of General Motors, as well as a member of the Technology Advisory Council of United Technologies Corporation. He is also a Professor with University of California, Berkeley, Department of Electrical Engineering & Computer Sciences. ×
