Biography
Dr Najdat Mahmood joined this University in September, 2011. He completed his postgraduate diploma in insurance management from University of Baghdad- Iraq, and his Phd from University of Wales, UK. Dr Najdat has more than 10 years of experience in the insurance sector and 15 years of teaching experience at graduate and postgraduate programmes in universities of Baghdad, Amman and the Applied Science University – Bahrain. He has been actively involved in supervising post graduate students. Till date he has guided seven Post Graduate dissertations.
Research Interest
His main areas of interest are Insurance, Takaful, Finance and Islamic Banking. He is currently teaching subjects in the area of Finance and Islamic Banking at RUW
