Biography
By command of HM Sultan of Brunei on 26 August 2014 was appointed as the Acting Managing Directors of Tabung Amanah Islam Brunei (TAIB). Acting Managing Director of Autoriti Monetary of Brunei Darussalam (AMBD) from Jun14 until Aug14 Deputy Managing AMBD during the short stint managed to launch the 5 years Strategic Plan 2014-2018, project sponsor for the Payment Settlement System, extension of the Sukuk programme, secondary trading and recommended the recruitment of a new Banking expert. A career spanning more than 22 years, with last 18 years spent in HSBC and AMBD. Had opportunity to lead Corporate, Commercial & Retail Banking business for 7 years while double hatting as Deputy CEO. Before joining HSBC, had a 4 years stint in various roles in the Ministry of Finance, Brunei Darussalam.
