Biography
Dr Hui Cheng received his BSc and MSc degrees in Computer Science from Northeastern University, China in July 2001 and March 2004 respectively and his PhD degree in Computer Science from The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, Hong Kong in November 2007. From January 2008 to July 2010, he has been a Postdoctoral Research Associate in the Department of Computer Science at the University of Leicester. Dr Hui Cheng joined the University of Bedfordshire as a Lecturer in October 2010. Dr Hui Cheng received his BSc and MSc degrees in Computer Science from Northeastern University, China in July 2001 and March 2004 respectively and his PhD degree in Computer Science from The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, Hong Kong in November 2007. From January 2008 to July 2010, he has been a Postdoctoral Research Associate in the Department of Computer Science at the University of Leicester. Dr Hui Cheng joined the University of Bedfordshire as a Lecturer in October 2010.
Research Interest
research interests include wireless mobile networks, optical networks, wireless mesh networks, mobile ad hoc networks, Quality of Service routing, multicast communications, dynamic optimization, evolutionary computation, artificial intelligence, etc. He has been involved in a few research projects as the primary researcher and therefore published around 40 high quality research papers in the above areas. He has also been invited as program members for more than 20 international conferences.
