Daniel Ndisang

Biography

Daniel Ndisang is a Senior Research Scientist and Principal Investigator at the University College London Medical Schools where has been working in the field of childhood and gynaecological cancers for over a decade and a half now. During this time he has not only collaborated internationally and setup national and international platforms for cancer research but most importantly he has made many breakthroughs particularly with regard to potential diagnostics prognostics treatment and management procedures for breast and cervical cancers In this essence he has made significant contributions in elucidating the role of transcription factors in breast and cervical cancers. These significant findings have been published in peerreviewed journals like Oncogene Cancer Research, Gynecologic Oncology, Journal of Gynecological Cancer, Journal of Clinical Investigation, Journal of Biological Chemistry etc. Besides his work has also been presented in national/international conferences and on news editorial and columns. He is a reviewer for several journals including; Gynaecologic Oncology and open access journals like PLoS One and Journal of Experimental  Clinical Cancer Research Editorial. Dr. Daniel Ndisang has also received several academic and scientific awards including the University College Hospital Medical School departmental scholarship to do a doctorate in molecular pathology in 1995 to 1998 and the Association for International Cancer Research prestigious research project grant to carry out research in gynaecological cancer in 2007 to 2010.
