Mr. M. Anis Ud Dowla

Biography

Mr. Dowla was the President of Narayangonj Chamber of Commerce and Industries in 1977. He has since been elected President of the successor trade body named Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce & Industries in 1978, 1995 and 2010. Mr. Dowla has considerable contribution in the field of Industrial Relations of the country. He was elected President of Bangladesh Employers' Association for four terms, the only national employers' organization, in 1975-1976, 1976-1977, 1991-1992, 1992-1993 and also elected as President of Bangladesh Employers' Federation for two terms in 2003-2004 and 2004-2005. He is the Chairman of Pioneer Insurance Company Limited and Director of Credit Rating Agency of Bangladesh.
