Biography
Mr. Pradip Kar Chowdhury is the Executive Director, Finance & Planning and Chief Financial Officer of the company. His responsibilities include corporate finance, supply chain, corporate planning, tax and VAT, mergers and acquisitions, and investor relations. He has over 26 years of experience in Agriculture, Pharmaceuticals, FMCG, Retail, Tea, Shipping industries in the diversified portfolio including in sales & marketing. He served in the capacity of different leadership positions during a tenure of nearly 17 years with the leading conglomerates in Bangladesh. He joined in ACI as Financial Controller in June 2005, and led the team of Accounts, Financial Reporting, Credit, Costing, Tax & VAT. In August 2013 he has been promoted as Executive Director, Finance & Planning. He led the initiative on direct listing, issue zero coupon bond & commercial paper, merger of the company.
