Biography

 2006— Fellowship in MSICS (Manual Small Incision Cataract Surgery) from Pakistan Institute of Community Ophthalmology (PICO), Peshawar, Pakistan. 2003— International fellowship on advanced training on managing and setting up an eye bank and retrieval network in Missouri, USA  1996— Fellowship training from Ophthalmology department in University of Tokyo, Japan in Cornea and Glaucoma.2009- Till date —Consultant ophthalmologist, Bangladesh Eye Hospital, Dhaka, Bangladesh. 2006- 2009 —served as Consultant Ophthalmologist in Bangladesh Institute of Health Sciences (BIHS), a concern of BIRRDEM collaborating with Netherland govt. 1999-2000 — Resident Ophthalmologist in Ministry of health, KSA. 1997- 1999 —Consultant NGO eye Hospital, Sutrapur, Dhaka, Bangladesh. 1994- 1997 —served as senior resident ophthalmologist in Lions Eye Hospital, Agargaon, Dhaka, Bangladesh Attended various national & international conferences, CMEs, seminars and workshops etc. Few to name are APAO-- Asia-Pacific Academy of Ophthalmology Congress 1994, American Eye Bank Association Annual Meeting 2003, and Centenary of Japanese Ophthalmological Society 1996.Presented a number of papers in scientific meetings and have been published many a times.
