Biography
Dr. Salma Parvin working as Glaucoma consultant, Bangladesh Eye Hospital & Institute, Dhaka. She was born in Barisal & completed her MBBS from Sher- E- Bangla Medical College, Barisal in 1990. She had done Diploma in Ophthalmology from BIRDEM (Under Dhaka University) in 1999 and obtained FCPS in Ophthalmology from BCPS in 2007. She was trained on OCT & Laser therapy in Singapore and trained in Glaucoma from Aravind Eye Hospital, India. Dr. Salma was the Senior Medical Officer at BIRDEM hospital, Asst Prof at Lions Eye Institute & Hospital and Chief Consultant In Prime Bank Eye Hospital. She has special interest on Phaco surgery, Glaucoma, Medical Retina and Uveal diseases. She has long working experience with Prof. Sk. M. A. Mannaf and Prof. M. Nazrul Islam, the two very well-known and internationally reputed glaucoma specialist of Bangladesh.
