"Mr. Nazmul Hassan is the Managing Director of Beximco Pharmaceuticals Ltd. He also serves as Director of different companies of Beximco Group. Since joining Beximco Pharma in 1987, Mr. Hassan has served in various capacities including Chief Executive Officer and Director Marketing & Commercial. Mr. Hassan obtained Bachelors degree in Public Administration and an MBA degree from the University of Dhaka and Executive Education in Marketing & Strategy at University of California, Los Angeles & North Western University, Chicago, USA. Mr. Nazmul Hassan is a prominent and highly respected executive in the region known for his business acumen and strategic thinking. He was awarded prestigious Asia’s Most Influential Leader at the Asian Brand Summit 2013, Dubai for his outstanding business leadership. Mr. Hassan is currently the Advisor to Bangladesh Association of Pharmaceutical Industries (BAPI) where he had served as the Secretary General for four consecutive terms. He has been on various national and international committees and task force on healthcare and drugs policy, including as a Consultant to Commonwealth Secretariat in London, UK. He is considered an expert on issues related to Drug Policy, Intellectual Property Rights, TRIPs etc. Nazmul Hassan is the President of Bangladesh Cricket Board, IBA Alumni Association and MBA Club. He is also an elected Member of the National Parliament of Bangladesh and a member of parliamentary standing committee for Health and Agriculture.
