Dr. Yousuf Mahbubul Islam is the Professor and Head of the Department of Software Engineering at Daffodil International University. He completed MSc (1983) by course work and dissertation at Strathclyde University - recommended for transfer to PhD without certificate .and PhD (1988) from Strathclyde University, Glasgow, UK, in Design, Manufacturing & Engineering Management.; His Research interest are in low-cost interactive distance education without the use of Internet,
