Peter Lefkowitz

Biography

 Peter Lefkowitz is Senior Data Rights Management Counsel at GE.  In this role, Peter supports GE’s Digital business, including GE’s Predix platform and internet-connected products and predictive analytics solutions.  Peter served as GE’s Chief Privacy Officer from 2013-16.  Prior to joining GE, Peter was Vice President of Privacy and Security Legal and Chief Privacy Officer at Oracle Corporation. Peter clerked for the Honorable Robert E. Coyle, Chief Judge of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of California. Peter has spoken widely on privacy, information security, cloud services and the Internet of Things, including presentations for IAPP, the Boston Bar Association, the American Bar Association, European Data Protection Days and TRUSTe.   He is a member of the Board of Directors at Jewish Family and Children's Services of Greater Boston, and is chair of JF&CS Bet Tzedek Pro Bono Legal Services.
